The short answer is: if we did, we wouldn’t sell it to you. But let’s be honest, NOBODY WOULD SELL THAT PRODUCT TO ANYONE. It would, by definition, be the most valuable tool on Wall Street and we’d be rich thanks to our amazing tool that can accurately predict the future!
While you’re out there hunting for the magic money making machine, you’ll no doubt come across plenty of willing vendors who will happily sell you their “one-of-a-kind” system or indicator that offers a surefire path to riches, easy living, and perhaps even enlightenment itself.
You can go that route. In fact, we encourage you to do so.
After you’ve lost enough money that it hurts, Trade Ideas will be here, ready for you to put in the real work required to make a success out of yourself. We provide the tools, you provide the elbow grease, and together we’ll get this motor humming.
Trading involves risk. There is no chance for profit without the risk of loss. There are no free lunches on Wall Street -- especially for us retail traders. And we get it, you want to keep your costs as low as possible. This is smart! It’s the ONE thing you have full control over as a trader.
This is precisely why a Trade Ideas Premium monthly subscription costs less than $8 per day. And there are other, cheaper options too!
If you can’t afford to risk $8 a day, please do not subscribe to Trade Ideas. We are not the platform for you. Our software is designed for serious traders with adequate risk capital who are ready and willing to dominate the market.
Trade Ideas currently offers a Standard and a Premium subscription at monthly and annual renewals. Additionally, we now have a Professional Services membership for Professional Traders. All subscriptions are recurring subscriptions with no contract involved.
It’s easy. An account is automatically created for you using your email as the username when you purchase a subscription.
Probably not. Almost all of our users are non-professional traders. If you were a professional, you would probably know it.
This is how the NYSE defines a non-professional trader: any natural person whom Vendor has determined to qualify as a “Nonprofessional Subscriber” and who is not: (a) registered or qualified with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”), the Commodities Futures Trading Commission, any state securities agency, any securities exchange or association, or any commodities or futures contract market or association. (b) engaged as an “investment advisor” as that term is defined in Section 201(11) of the Investment Advisor’s Act of 1940 (whether or not registered or qualified under that Act), nor (c) employed by a bank or other organization exempt from registration under Federal and/or state securities laws to perform functions that would require him or her to be so registered or qualified if he or she were to perform such functions for an organization not so exempt.
Professional and non-professional traders receive the same software and data from Trade-Ideas. Professional traders have to pay more, but that money goes entirely to the exchanges. Professional traders have to fill out more paperwork.
You can find Trade Ideas resources including training videos and classes in the Support and Education section. During market hours, we have a live support chat accessible near the bottom of most of the website pages.
To open a support ticket, email info@trade-ideas.com. This email address enters the request into our helpdesk software where it is routed to the best team member to answer your question promptly.
We accept major credit cards and PayPal. In special situations, we do accept Western Union, wire transfers, or personal checks.
Unless otherwise stated in the promotion, the discount codes reduce the order total. In the case of a recurring subscription, the discount applies to the first installment (for example: the first year or the first month). The ongoing subscription recurs at the advertised normal rate for the service. Please keep in mind that ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Trade Ideas will allow for store credit or exchanges. Trade Ideas is not responsible for continued subscriptions should a client forget to cancel their account. It is the customer’s responsibility to confirm the cancellation. Note: not all codes will work for a subscription upgrade. If you’re upgrading and a code does not work, contact info@trade-ideas.com.
Yes, we do allow for upgrades and downgrades. You can contact info@trade-ideas.com for further assistance.
The following items are not offered with the Trade Ideas web version:
Oh sh*t this Trade Ideas software is BROKEN! Nope, sorry to say it, but nearly 99% of the time, the reason an alert didn’t land in your Alert Window at the time you claim it should have is due to the fact that you’ve got a filter in place that isn’t being satisfied. In other words: “user error.”
The thing is, computers and servers are dumb. No really, they are. They are big dumb machines that only do precisely what you instruct them to. Nothing more, nothing less. And in the case of Alert Windows on Trade Ideas, ALL filter parameters must be satisfied in order for an alert to be fired. This is by design. So, whenever you’re not getting the alerts you think you deserve, check your filters and start modifying or eliminating until you’ve isolated the one that isn’t being satisfied.
Of course, the other -- though less often -- reason might be that you don’t have the proper exchanges selected in your configurations. This happens a lot with users looking for alerts on microcap and penny stocks. Make sure you’ve got the OTC and pink sheet exchanges selected!
But don’t feel bad, we’re all human and we all make silly mistakes and “user errors” daily. You’re one of us!
Users will often find that a Top List or Alert Window they’ve carefully crafted offers ZILCH before the market opens. It’s 8:45am ET and you’re just staring at a blank window wondering WTF?
Similar to the above “Why didn’t stock XYZ show up…” entry, it is because you are employing a filter that isn’t being satisfied. And the reason for this is because certain filters within Trade Ideas only work with Regular Trading Hours data. In other words, these filters are returning a null value before the market opens and therefore since ALL filters aren’t being satisfied by any stocks, you’re experiencing what appears to be a dead window. Frustrating, we know.
The most common offender in this category is the RELATIVE VOLUME filter. This is a very popular filter for active traders (rightly so), and therefore it is not uncommon for you to accidentally include it in a Window where you’re trying to catch moves in the pre-market. Here is a list of other common offending filters in the pre-market session.
Now go get ‘em, Early Riser!
