MOMO Pro Alternatives in 2026: 5 Tools by Job
Named to the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies six years in a row (2017–2022).
Investopedia: Best Short Term Stock Screener, 2024
The short answer: MOMO Pro, from Mometic, is a low-cost momentum stream that runs in a browser. Traders who move on usually want to build their own scans, test them, or get AI trade signals with a plan attached. For all three, Trade Ideas is our pick; Scanz, Benzinga Pro, Day Trade Dash and Finviz Elite each fit a narrower job.
This page is on Trade Ideas' own website. For a head-to-head view, see Trade Ideas vs MOMO Pro.
MOMO Pro alternatives, by what you need
- Scans you build, testing and AI signals: Trade Ideas.
- News and SEC filing scans beside a scanner: Scanz.
- Headlines and squawk first: Benzinga Pro.
- Ross Cameron's presets: Day Trade Dash.
- Simple screens at a low price: Finviz Elite.
- New to trading, premium from day one: Trade Ideas, with ready-made Channel Bar channels, the Holly AI Assistant and the free Trading Room. See Trade Ideas for beginners.
What MOMO Pro does well
MOMO Pro is cheap to start, from $27 a month, and runs in a browser or as an installed web app on supported devices. Every tier covers 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET, the stream puts high/low breaks, halts and news in one view, and paid plans have a five-day trial.
Why traders look for MOMO Pro alternatives
- They want to define the scan. MOMO Pro's table lists five alert types. Trade Ideas documents 310 alerts and 249 filters you can combine.
- They want to test before they trade. The MOMO Pro plans page does not list a backtester.
- They want signals with a plan. Every Holly AI Signal arrives with an entry, a stop and a target.
- They want the opening range on every plan. MOMO ORB is on Ultra; Trade Ideas opening range alerts come with both plans.
MOMO Pro's guide centers on finding movers: MOMO scans the whole U.S. stock market in real time for stocks on the move. Traders who also want to test and refine what they find look at Trade Ideas, where a custom measurement from the Formula Editor can go into a strategy, OddsMaker backtests it with breakdowns by time of day, price and symbol, and Holly re-picks her strategies each night from fresh backtests. Those two, OddsMaker and Holly AI Signals, are included with TI Premium.
What MOMO Pro's comparison page says about Trade Ideas
Mometic's comparison center gives Trade Ideas prices of “$118.00/mo” and “$228.00/mo.” On October 7, 2026, TI Standard was $127 a month and TI Premium $254, or $1,068 and $2,136 billed yearly. The same table says Trade Ideas “does not have ORB support”; in fact there are opening range breakout and breakdown alerts at 1, 2, 5, 10, 15, 30 and 60 minutes, starting with the 1-minute breakout and the 1-minute breakdown.
It also says Trade Ideas does not stream, has no Mac support, no market meters, no news and only a support chatbot for AI. Streaming Alerts can fire on every trade. The browser-based Web Dashboard needs no download, works on a Mac, and includes Market Pulse and stock details and news. The Holly AI Assistant comes with every TI Pro plan, and Holly AI Signals with TI Premium. Our Trade Ideas vs MOMO Pro page goes row by row.
One row in that table holds up: it lists Trade Ideas with “No API access,” next to a webhook for MOMO Pro alerts. Trade Ideas keeps its data and alerts in its own software and has no public API or webhook for outside tools. You scan, rank Top Lists and ask the Holly AI Assistant there, and on TI Premium, Brokerage Plus and Money Machine place one-click and automated orders with brokers such as IBKR, TradeStation, E*TRADE and Alpaca.

- Real-time data
- Live market data on both plans, from the premarket through after-hours.
- Scans and alerts
- 310 alerts and 249 filters, combined however you like; the Holly AI Assistant builds a window from plain English.
- Backtesting
- OddsMaker on TI Premium tests any alert you build as the event.
- AI
- The Holly AI Assistant is in every TI Pro plan. Holly AI Signals, on TI Premium, arrive with an entry, a stop and a target.

- Price
- TI Standard (Core): $127 a month or $1,068 a year. TI Premium (Apex) lists at $254 monthly; annual billing comes to $2,136.
Opening range, seven ways. Breakout and breakdown alerts track the opening range over the first 1, 2, 5, 10, 15, 30 and 60 minutes; see the 2-minute breakout and the 15-minute breakdown. In MOMO Pro, the ORB tool sits on Ultra.
How far the combinations go. Pair any of the 310 alerts with any of the 249 filters, each filter limited by a min and max you type. 191 alerts add their own setting, such as the 0 to 366 day lookback on a New High or the move size on Running Up Now. Technical alerts include a 15-minute MACD cross above signal, a 5-minute hammer and a 15-minute linear regression up trend. Picking one alert and two filters already gives 9,571,560 combinations, and the full range is effectively unlimited.
Worth knowing: U.S.-listed stocks only. TI Pro runs on Windows; on a Mac, the browser-based Web Dashboard needs no download and carries Top Lists, Races, TreeMaps, Market Pulse, Picture in Picture charts, stock details and news, and the Unusual Options Activity channel. Holly AI Signals, OddsMaker and Money Machine sit in the higher tier, TI Premium.
Pick Trade Ideas if you would like a daily set of Holly AI Signals, each with an entry, a stop and a target, and OddsMaker testing; both come with TI Premium. Describe a scan or screen in plain English and the AI Assistant sets it up, or assemble it yourself from 310 alerts and 249 filters in a point-and-click menu, no code required. If the filter you need doesn't exist, write it in the Formula Editor and run it through OddsMaker to see every event it would have caught.
Best fit: MOMO Pro users who want to build and test their own setups and get AI signals with a plan, and new traders who want the premium experience.
